James Hennesey has been advancing the Gospel as a senior pastor for nearly 40 years. Leading churches in Alabama, Florida and Texas, James has helped countless people find the light of eternal life and live more in line with the teachings of Jesus.

James has spoken at mission conferences in Southeast Asia and Central America, been a guest Bible professor and lecturer at colleges, and is a board member of the Hope Mansion and Transformation Vision. He is also the president and founder of the Link Network.
Jim Hennesy became the Senior Pastor of Trinity Church of the Assemblies of God, Cedar Hill, TX, in November of 1994. Prior to that, he served as Senior Pastor in St. Petersburg Florida and Leeds, Alabama. He is a graduate of Central Bible College, Springfield, Missouri. With over 37 years of pastoral ministry, Jim leads Trinity Ministries into its finest hour as primary presenter of the preaching/teaching ministry and primary steward of Trinity’s vision.

Jim focuses his ministry around the Presence and Testimony of Jesus (Substance of God), and strongly encourages the church to live in supernatural participation with the Holy Spirit.

Jim has also served as a visiting professor at North Central Bible College and Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He is a respected teacher and speaker at major gatherings of ministers around the world. Jim is author of the book, No More Cotton Candy, addressing the real substance of the Spirit-filled Christian life.

Jim, having a vision for the local church to impact the local community, helped form Transformation Vision Cedar Hill and serves on the steering committee. The organization, which he helped found, is a coalition of business, education, government and churches committed to see God’s principles enacted into the fiber and relationships of the community.

Jim leads a network of over 50 pastors across the nation and in Canada. He mentors, disciples, and meets with these pastors throughout the year. He also speaks to their congregations and does staff training.

Over the course of the last few years, Jim has traveled and spoken all over the world. Most recently, he spoke in Salvador, Brazil, eight times over three days to over 25, 000 people. He does workshops with church staff and elders when he visits these countries as well.

Jim and Becky (married 41 years) have three children: Ross, a graduate of Texas Tech University and Temple University is currently the director of the Quaker Voluntary Service in Philadelphia. Ryan, a graduate of Southwestern University and Princeton Theological Seminary, and his wife, Julia, are on staff at a church in Baltimore. Katee is a graduate of Oral Roberts University, is currently serving on the executive staff at Trinity Church.
